Playtex Bra from BzzAgent

I was super excited to be receiving a free bra.  We all know as a woman we have made it our mission to find the perfect bras, jeans, and shoes and it require time and effort to find the perfect fit at the best price possible.  Free always wins.   Well…this bra was quite different from the style I’m used to wearing.  I like my demi bras.  They have a little breathing room. I am well beyond my braless days, so little is better.  I’ve found that with age and weight I need a little more support and have slowly started making changes.  When I pulled the Playtex out of the BzzAgent box, I was a little worried.  It was a whole lot of bra.  I wear sports bras for comfort during exercise and just lounging, so I approached it as if it was that kind of coverage.

The bra has a full coverage cup, with a thick, soft, comfortable straps over the shoulders, and a wide supportive clasp in the back.  The cup has an underwire and enough padding for the scaffolding needed to keep the girls in place.  The bra stayed in place with no riding up in the front or the back.  I felt pretty comfortable throughout the day.  There were some drawbacks.  The plastic piece used to adjust the strap is located on the shoulder instead of at the bottom of the strap.  This was uncomfortable and often dug into my shoulder.  I really had a hard time getting over the cup coverage.  It felt like I was wearing the pointy bras from the 60’s.  It took some getting used to as it was different from my usual style.  The cups weren’t pointy, that’s just the image I had in my head when I first started wearing the bra.  The wide back and really kept the bra in place and comfortable.  There is no shoulder digging due to the wide straps before the plastic adjusters.

In summary, the bra was pretty comfortable if you like that style.  The bra gave me specifics to look for when I seek out the perfect bra.  The paperwork that came with the bra shows some styles that are closer to my liking.  I will definitely check them out when they are released in the fall as the good outweighed the bad.
